Brent graduated from the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a B.S. Interior Design. While going through his studies he worked as a small design build firm where he also spent time in the field along with doing the design. He felt that anyone could learn to do design and be good at putting colors and materials together but if those ideas and designs can't be built in the field, what was the point? Brent has designed and built (along side lead carpenters) everything from basements, kitchens & baths, up to custom homes from the ground up learning how things go together in the field. After graduating Brent realized his true passion was in kitchens & bath design and went to work for a custom cabinet manufacture until the down turn in the economy. After bouncing around for a few years and a going from job to job Brent found a home in the flooring industry and spent just over 5 years with a company before he decided with encouragement from his wife Jenn it was time to open Designs By Mitchel LLC. Brent and Jenn have 2 dogs and a cat with a baby girl on the way in March of 2017. In his free time he enjoys making his own beer, riding his motorcycle and traveling with his wife.

  Jenn is the main reason why Designs by Mitchel LLC. exist today. She encouraged Brent to make the leap and had all the faith in him to succeed. Jenn has a MBA and handles all the books behind the scenes when not at her full-time job. Along with spending time with her family Jenn also likes to be active outdoors and seeking out new travel adventures for the family.

   Bonnie and Brent had known each other since college where they worked together at Jonn's Interiors in Montgomeryville PA. Bonnie is a key part in the everyday functions of Designs By Mitchel LLC putting her accounting degree to work in all aspects. As Brent's assistant and right hand Bonnie handles everything from helping Brent in client meetings to making sure deliveries and materials come in and go out on time for client projects. Bonnie has two amazing kids one boy Manny Jr. and a little girl Emmalina that keep her on her toes when she is home.

   Amanda graduated from Drexel University with a B.S. in Interior Design. Out of school, she worked for a design/ build company, where she was part of a team that designed a 170,000 SF corporate headquarters. Following that job, she worked for a tile distributor, where she assisted clientele ranging from homeowners to kitchen & bath professionals in the showroom. With her extensive product knowledge, she recommended the right products and designs best suited for the project at hand. Most recently, she came to us from a luxury furniture retailer, where she was responsible for designing the space with the company’s product from floor to ceiling. She is very excited to enhance her designs using the vast product variety that DBM offers! When not at work, she can be found playing with her 3 dogs or spending time with family & friends.
